It's 7.00pm on Saturday 5th October and after a wonderful morning in the Perth Botanical Gardens, Lesley & Bob dropped me off at the Crowne Plaza hotel for my overnight stay before joining the Indian Pacific Train tomorrow morning.
I have a 9th floor room looking out over the Swan River. It's rather noisy since an October Beerfest is happing about 500metres from the hotel on the Esplanade so plenty of Leder Hosen about.
I think I told you that the aim of the Giant Trail is to find 5 and crack the code to find the 6th Giant in a secret place. Dr Google enabled us to find the secret Giant Jyttes Hytte. It was some distance south and a mile or so walk through some coastal forest and almost 'fairy like glades' before coming to a large clearing and there he was – hugging a tree!
