You may be wondering why the Giants are named in such a way. There is no explanation I can find other than that the architect of the sculptures Thomas Dambo – is Danish.
This final sculpture Billie Bob is to be found in Subiaco Theatre Gardens in the city of Perth. Mandurah is some 60 kilometres south of central Perth so the other 5 Giants have all been in locations not only south of Perth but also south of Mandurah!
So ended our quest for the Giants. I should mention in closing that the sculptures were erected in 2022 and are expected to last unit 2026.
Late evenings at Lesley & Bob's was great fun binge watching old episodes of Doc Martin accompanied by a tot of Jamieson's Irish whisky. No wonder I slept well!
